SUPPORT OUR MISSION
The Solar Decathlon is a challenging and enormous undertaking. The U.S. Department of Energy requires a minimum of $500,000 in guaranteed or pledged funding for a successful entry into the competition. This means that our supporters play a pivotal role in helping us to secure a spot in the coveted top 20 tier of accepted teams.


Your support will bring us one step closer to achieving our dream of building a solar home fit for sustainable living. More than anything, your gift will help advance renewable energy research, while supporting student innovation and higher education. Together, we can work towards our mission of inspiring the public to demand more from the next generation of homes.

We also have our very own Aeroplan Charitable Pooling Account. We are pleased to align ourselves with Aeroplan, one of Canada’s Greenest Employers. Aeroplan Miles have helped us travel to Madrid, Spain and Washington, D.C. to visit Solar Decathlon Europe and Solar Decathlon respectively. This year we will be campaigning during the month of October in order to raise enough Miles to send our team to the 2013 Solar Decathlon.
