Cassandra Kani-Sanchez, Mechanical Engineer Manager

Cassandra Kani-Sanchez is in her fourth year of Mechanical Engineering at Queen’s University and has worked with the team since Fall of 2010.

Cassandra’s interest in sustainable building design originated in high school and she has continued to develop her interest in this field through her work with the team. From all the knowledge and experiences she has gained with the team she plans on pursuing a career in green building consulting upon graduation.

As Mechanical Systems Manager, Cassandra will oversee the design and implementation of the HVAC system for the QSDT home. She is excited to work with the enthusiastic individuals on the team and to see the great projects unfold in the Queen’s Solar Education Centre.
