Leia de Guzman, Business Director

Leia is entering her fourth year in a five-year dual degree program between Commerce and Environmental Science. Now moving on to her second year with QSDT, she is eager to bring her passion for sustainability and business experience to the team. Leia has experience working for the Environmental Health & Safety Department at Queen’s and also has been able to develop her leadership and communications skills through her experiences as Alumni Speaker Chair for the Queen’s Student Alumni Association (QSAA) and Chair for the Queen’s United Way Committee.

Leia looks forward to the coming year with her new position as VP of Marketing and Communications for the QSAA, as well as the opportunity to work on the upcoming Solar Decathlon 2013 proposal with the other passionate students of the QSDT.
