Dayna Mailach, Marketing Manager

Dayna Mailach is entering her fourth year in Mechanical Engineering at Queen’s University, and has worked with the Queen’s Solar Design Team since Fall of 2010.

With the knowledge and experience that she has gained since joining the team, she hopes to integrate sustainable practices into all areas of her work. Dayna is particularly interested in industrial design and architecture, and hopes to direct her engineering degree and the work that she has done in sustainable building in that direction.

Working with so many talented and passionate students has really been such a great experience for her, and she has learned so much over the past year. Since she began work and research in sustainable building design, Dayna’s interest has definitely been peaked, and she is eager to see the team’s progress and work towards the next Solar Decathlon and other upcoming projects.
